Purchase Process, Access, and External Platforms

For managing access to events, participation in programs, and downloading content such as research, insights, radars, and reports, Finnosummit uses specialized external platforms. These platforms may include free and paid services, depending on the case.

For paid services, the external platforms are responsible for processing payments, including managing payment methods such as credit cards, debit cards, and electronic transfers. Policies related to payments, refunds, and security are exclusively subject to the terms and conditions established by the respective platforms.

However, Finnosummit acknowledges its responsibility for the final delivery of the services offered. In exceptional situations where payment, refund, or access issues cannot be resolved directly through the external platform, Users may contact Finnosummit via email at info@finnosummit.com for additional assistance. Finnosummit will evaluate the situation in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and, at its discretion, may manage refunds, credits, or other solutions, always within the applicable deadlines and tax regulations in Mexico.

Users are encouraged to carefully review the terms and conditions of the external platforms before making any transactions, as these will be primarily responsible for managing payments and refunds.

Invoicing

Finnosummit is committed to issuing invoices for purchases made through third-party platforms used for ticket and service sales. Users must request their invoice within the same calendar month in which the purchase was made. Once this period has passed, invoicing requests will not be processed.

Although Finnosummit is responsible for issuing invoices, we use third-party platforms to facilitate this process. Therefore, Users must make the request directly through the platform used to purchase the ticket or service. In case of issues that cannot be resolved with the platform, Users may contact Finnosummit by sending an email to info@finnosummit.com. We will act as a liaison to resolve the issue as much as possible.

In cases of special invoicing requirements that cannot be managed directly through the external platform, Finnosummit’s team will work with the User to evaluate and address the request. These cases will be addressed individually, always respecting the applicable tax laws in Mexico.

Additionally, in specific situations, an invoice may be issued before payment for the service is made. This process requires coordination with Finnosummit’s sales team and the customer service staff of the external platform used. Once the invoice is issued, the User must complete payment within the established deadline to formalize the acquisition of the service or ticket.

Invoices may be modified, provided the request is made within the same calendar month the original invoice was issued and complies with applicable tax laws in Mexico. According to the Código Fiscal de la Federación, electronic invoices (CFDI) may be canceled within the same fiscal year, provided the recipient accepts the cancellation and a new invoice with the correct details is issued. Invoices will not be issued for purchases made outside authorized platforms.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

Finnosummit is committed to ensuring a transparent experience for Users in the management of payments and services. Refunds and cancellations will be subject to the following provisions:

In exceptional cases, Finnosummit will process refunds only under the following circumstances: duplicate payments or overpayments. Refunds will be issued via check made out to the individual or company that made the original payment. Requests must be submitted in writing to info@finnosummit.com and will be evaluated within up to 30 business days after receipt.

Regarding event cancellations, the following conditions will apply depending on the notice period provided:

  • If notice is given more than 90 days before the event, the total amount will be refunded minus applicable management fees.
  • If notice is given 90 days or less before the event, a credit for the corresponding amount will be issued, valid for two years from its issuance, to be used for any other event organized by Finnosummit.
  • If notice is given less than 10 days before the event, no refunds or credits will be issued.

Users must manage cancellation or refund requests directly with the external platform used for the ticket or service purchase. If the issue cannot be resolved through the platform, Users may contact Finnosummit for additional support.

Finnosummit will not process refunds or cancellations related to purchases made outside authorized platforms. Additionally, all requests will be subject to applicable tax laws in Mexico and must comply with the established deadlines.
