Visa’s Everywhere Initiative in Latin America is coming to an end. After a challenging selection process through which 36 startups were selected amongst the more than 350 startups that had applied, Visa’s Everywhere Initiative has traveled across the Latin American region to attend its 6 semifinals.
These have taken place in Mexico City, Santiago, Lima, Buenos Aires, Bogotá and Sao Paulo, cities where, amongst the 36 semifinalists, were selected the 12 startups that will be pitching at the final and competing to become the most innovative Fintech startup in the region.
The 12 selected startups will participate in a 4-day immersion program in Miami. Additionally, finalists will pitch their projects in the final, which will take place at FINNOSUMMIT in Miami October, 4. The most innovative Fintech startup in Latin America will be selected at the final, winning a $50,000 prize and the opportunity to collaborate with Visa in the future of payments.
Additionally, Destacame was awarded with the Financial Inclusion recognition and will be joining us in Miami for the Immersion program and will be speaking at FINNOSUMMIT Miami.
