The registration period to become one of the 10 finalist startups of FINNOSUMMIT Challenge 2018 and pitch at the final held in Mexico city next September 12 and 13, is now open. Interested startups may apply for the competition free of charge from July 2nd to Augusto 2nd through this site. The call is open for tech startups operating in Mexico. The company must not necessarily be of Mexican origin, all it takes is to have operations in the country.
Supported by Scotiabank, this competition´s aim is to foster technology entrepreneurship nationally and to take finalist startups to the next stage of development, providing them great notoriety, specialized mentorship, more access to funding and partnerships with the main players of the financial industry. Furthermore, the winning startup will be able to participate in a week-long immersion program with Scotiabank in Toronto, Canadá.

The call will be open until July 29. Attributes such as innovation, viability, and the use of technologies based on Data Analytics, Alternative Scoring, Contactless payments (Biometrics, seamless), IoT, KYC, Cybersecurity will be taken into account to choose the finalists.
The competition final will be held during FINNOSUMMIT in México City on September 12 and 13. The 10 chosen finalists will pitch their projects in front of all the attendees and in front of a panel comprised of the best experts in Fintech as well as in the international financial industry. This final will also be the closure of this leading Fintech event in Latin America.
