FINNOSUMMIT, the most collaborative Fintech and Insurtech event in Latin America, was held last September 10 to 13 in Mexico City. There were more than 2,700 attendees: entrepreneurs, corporate innovators, investors and other key players within the ecosystem.
For this Panel, we had Jonathan Whittle (Quona), Ashim Banerjee (IDMission), Andrea Marcos (Tala), Arjuna Costa (Flourish VC), and Tahira Dosani (Accion Venture Lab) as the moderator. The discussion focused on importing ideas on inclusion: lessons learned in Africa and Asia. “It’s important to take a step back, we have to develop channels and products. Fintech is all about collaboration between financial services and tecnology,“ “There’s a lack of education inside the financial ecosystem, the hard work and challenge is to educate our consumers. That’s the biggest barrier in Mexico“.
